Guest kalashnikov89
Hey guys.. thanks for your help! We have a 1963 Thunderbird Sports Roadster.. The vehicle is a rare factory name badged model. 390 4V with air conditioning fitted with a C6 automatic transmission, swing away steering column, All original, all numbers match. Baby Blue exterior with blue interior with a pristine all electric white top. Original wire wheels runs and drives like new. It has 76,000 miles. Perfect mechanical and cosmetic condition. In 1963 they only made 455 Thunderbird Sport Roadsters, this is one of them. Also this vehicle is one of 1200 out of all the convertibles made between 1960 and 1963 that were name badged. I was wondering if you guys may be able to help me out and give me any ideas for the valuation of what this car may be worth? Also what would be the best way to go about selling it for the best price?? Also we were considering selling overseas.. would this be a good idea and how would this be done? Your help is greatly appreciated. Also if any of you are interested in purchasing it as well, feel free to contact me! Thanks !
hddennis
Judging by the paint around the edge of the data plate, I'd have to call this a repainted car and not all original. Howard Dennis
padgett
I'd suggest asking here. The roadster is kinda like the Pontiac tripower, many more built than ever left the factory, so I would be careful about documentation. It is a pretty car.

F&J
however, price guides mean very little except as comparisons to a different make of car, especially in this present market....that is why they are called a "guide"
auburnseeker
M series is a tripower car. Monaco was a special edition hardtop with vinyl roof and a principality of Monaco (I saw it called that somewhere) Special interior. This car appears to be a 4 BBL so it's not an M unless the tripower was swapped out. Agree it looks repainted though nicely. The checked/ cracked driver's seat and tarnished rear bumper will Knock it back a notch but those are fixable things without breaking the bank and possibly best left alone if the rest of the interior doesn't need any attention. 76B does seem to denote Sports roadster. N does seem to denote Diamond Blue as the original color. Here is a good site to help decode T-birds. http://www.tbird.org/DataPlate/vdata.htm I see alot of these in the 30 ish range up to 40,000. I have no idea which ones are selling or if any or all of them are legit Roadsters.
