John_S_in_Penna Posted December 23, 2016 Share Posted December 23, 2016 Just for everyone's planning-- A more recent development is given, according to Earl Beauchamp, in another forum thread: "I thought we had a Region willing to host the 2018 AACA Sentimental Tour. However, that Region has decided, instead, to take on the 2019 Founders' Tour. Thus, at this very moment in time there is no 2018 AACA Sentimental Tour." Charlie Charlie, I do not have a 2018 Calendar, but there looks to be room at the very end of April or very beginning of May, whenever a Sunday starts. November is also open, but you'll get your best attendance if you do it in the Spring before many of the interested attendees spend their travel money going to other places. June 18 had a day overlapping a Meet if I recall, and that's not a good idea ever. There is no rule that says you have to open on a Sunday either....Any other day of the week can be a start date. It's just unusual. Wayne, I think the club needs to get the word out that the 2018 Sentimental Tour is open, and that June 18 date isn't going to happen.
