I posted my cobra on racing junk . so far I have gotten two responces with no questions about the car saying they wish to purchase. The clue was that both of these individual were (at sea and couldn't use the phone) I find that interesting Please be wary of this. It sounds like the latest excuse!!!!!:cool::confused:

I have an 1890's Cutler roll top desk that I listed on Craigslist. A mother wanted to buy it for the son who is a marine biologist and away at sea, well maybe under it.

I don't understand why there aren't more Nigerian authors.

The "away at sea and unable to communicate" ploy

has been tried before on Forum members. They said

they worked on an off-shore oil platform.

Criminals are dishonest and immoral--they must be stupid too.

Do they really think that off-shore oil platforms--virtual

cities full of equipment and technology--have no way to

communicate in this modern era with the outside world?

"Hey Joe, we've got an oil leak!"

"Good watch, Roger. Why don't you take this dinghy to the

mainland and let everyone know?"

I really did sell a 20s radiator badge for a Studebaker to a fellow who was at sea, so do not lose a deal because the scam has become celebrated!
