Good job- Looks like an SU carb like on my Jag or Healy.... I'm sure just to get it going. Those are great days when we get an old gal running again-

Great job Phil !!!

Looks to be an S.U. from a TR-3 or a Healey. Too big to be from a TD.

For that big Buick motor, you might consider one from a Jag.

A couple of decades ago, I ran a small business out of my garage putting Jag S.U.'s on Harley's.

Boy did they run better. Closest thing to fuel injection back then.

Hi,

Beautiful to see this old Buick running!

--Tom

Am I missing something, Is this engine actually running, or just being cranked over, I cant believe it would run that slowly from a cold start, A great milestone anyway, well done,

Hi Phil

there are 2 videos on the page, are you looking at the second one?

Thanks for all the messages. It is great to be able to share my enthusiasm with others.

Dave, yes several pints or 'Wadsworth's Swordfish' bitter.

It is a play on words. I do not do Speedometer repairs. When the weather is warm, I work on stuff in a Speedo Swimsuit. Some even call me Speedo Dave.

Ha Ha, love it, I dont think you would find our present weather Speedo friendly.
