MarrsCars
Wow, you're right. Seems like they would sell for more given the size, maybe if it was a metal kit the value would be higher? My suggestion would be to make it into the Tom Mix car that West featured a while back, build it up and donate it to the AACA museum if they would display it. Alternatively, maybe the owner of the car would buy it from you as well.
1937hd45
Did an eBay SOLD search and kits #8127 have sold for 35-75 dollars. Bob
trimacar
I paid $50 for a complete kit a few years ago at Hershey (since I do own one, Marty, as you know!!) and as I walked away the guy was jumping for joy, so I'd say the $50-75 range is about right if you want to be happy.... Steve_Mack_CT
Or in 25 years the model is sitting on your grandson's bookshelf, and it is priceless....

West Peterson
I think I paid about $50 for mine as well. I'd pay twice that for the time to build it.

Steve_Mack_CT
Building models seems like another lost past time - Guy's post #9 reminds me of the 1/12 scale MG TC and Rolls Royce sedan(maybe it was a 20/25, or a Wraith, not sure now - I know it was a pretty unusual model, even back in the day) models I built around age 12. Could almost be it's own thread. At least I kept all the 1/43 cars.
