2021 & Remaining 2020 AACA National Actitivies Calendar
Robert G. Smits replied to a topic in AACA - Shows and Tours
Wayne it is my understanding that the tour was cancelled by headquarters without the knowledge of Joanna or the local tour chairman. How can you have a Grand National and a Hershey car show and not allow a local tour that will provably attract less than 50 cars and a max of 150 people, especially since the tour is 90 days out. My opinion is that headquarters could give a sh-- about tours and didn't want to be bothered. We have become a "Shiny Car" club. Just my opinions, been wrong before. -
Brief road trip.......and a cool car.....

I would encourage anyone interested it 3D printing to read the post referenced by pmhowe. You will be amazed. I was at J Leno's shortly after he received his first printer which he paid thousands for (if my memory is correct). A similar printer is now $150. -
One of the big advantages of joining a local or regional AACA club is that you get access to information on where to go for parts, service of just plain "help" from knowledgeable local club members. When I moved to College Station 11 years ago there was no local AACA club so I joined a Street Rod Club. They have been very helpful.

Selling 6 classic cars, not sure where to start.
Robert G. Smits replied to hashuman's topic in General Discussion
I would suggest listing them on Bring a Trailer one car every week or two. $95 for a 7 day listing and you take the photos. If they take the photos it is less than $300. Either way you will be assigned a listing assistant who will write the add and take care of the mechanics of listing. You can place a reserve if you like but No Reserve listings sell better. Sign up for their daily emails to get familiar with the system. They sell 40-60 cars every day and have a large following. If you use a reserve and the car doesn't sell you can go to plan B. Just my opinion. -
Period images to relieve some of the stress

Thanks Wayne. Yes this is painted on the side of a building. I assumed it was a aftermarket body although quite similar to the 19 Paige 6-66 Daytona speedster or the Kissel Model 45 Gold Bug Speedster. -

Thank you, I always thought the third car was a Cadillac but didn't have a clue on the other two -

I believe the car in the middle with the hard rubber tires is a 1909/'10 Fuller! Thanks Wayne, what about the other two? -
