Why 1988 Riviera? 1989 Riviera is the first year of the change in style (89-93) The 89 has the same intorior of the 88. I have two 89's that i will sell. The Dimond White and sapphire Blue. I bought the blue one at a salvage auction it has 94,000 and runs and drives just bought it as a parts car for the White one. The White on is loaded with every factory option. The lights in the headlights and wipers buttons has a power control source it has gone bad. Both of my 89's do the same thing

I would have referred them back to the FB page it has an admin that approved them to join and can answer any questions that come from the FB page. I find it hard to believe that it was "several" members that were confused the page lists nothing about the board or the ROA contact info. Where is the confusion? i had the same thing it was the relay on the convience center (small crome) changed pluged in and works well. I did have a leak in the rear shocks and caused the system to run alot

I have an 85 Riviera with passenger power recline and manual seat. I have a problem with the power recline. When recline is plugged in it don’t move and there is no noise my power locks, windows, and driver power seat are inop. When I hit the power lock button on the driver’s side door there is a loud noise on the passenger side of the dash (power lock relay) and it stops when I release. When the power recline is unplugged under the seat everything works fine. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p> Here is a little history I bought the car as a true 29K car the power recline did not work when I bought it. I was cleaning detailing the car last summer and noticed the recline unplugged. I plugged it in and the seat worked as it should laid back and up then it stopped and everything else happen. I have not went any further but I am getting the car out for the summer and what to tackle this issue and was wondering if any one has any thoughts Oh I did replace the switch and nothing.

Paul I agree 110% Chuck i would find why the fuse is blowing. your title says 84 Riviera and your story says 89 what is it? If 89 the fues panel has a wing nut that lets it drop down making it easy to get to with the fues puller. Also on the 89 the fues are on the pass side
