  4. This is just some helpful or useless information. All three of my 85 Riviera's and 84 Eldorado TC have working power antenna's I have taken them out of the cars and took them apart and repacked with grease and cleaned them up of the gunk. When I have taken the units out and got them open there has been a lot of dirt and grime in the cases which can cause the antenna to get dry and brittle and brake. Now with that said I hope I did not bring a curse on my antenna’s P.S not a fun job
  5. Hello Chuck the CB was a seperate from the radio. It had a unit that pluged in under the dash on the right side of the ash tray. The power antenna was differant as well it had a receiver on the atnenna i have attached pics of the antenna i have i dont have the CB unit it self.
  6. Tom, I understand the under carriage corrosion. Next time you see Jayson ask him about cars from the north and watch his eyes pop out of his head LOL. I dont have your E mail can you send it to me and i will forward you a pic this afternoon i need to go to the barn and take one.
  7. Tom check these out on E bay 84 85 FIERO LEFT & RIGHT FRONT SPEAKERS | eBay There is another set guy is asking way to much but they are new
  8. Tom, I have a couple sets of the speakers that will fit in the rear ¼ I found a couple sets of rear shelf speakers on E bay. I could not get the rear ¼ speakers to work in the shelf, there is a bracket welded to it and when I tried to cut it off the vibration from the dermel blew the thin paper out on the edge of the speaker. When that paper or maybe foam on the outside edge is gone then the speaker will sound blown. Tom I will be happy to part with one set of rear ¼ speakers for you. But you have to promise not to call your 85 a “winter beater” that just tears at my heart………LOL

  13. The VIN number will be on the build sheet and the option label. I worked at a Buick dealer in the 80’s and living and growing up in Buick City where the engineers worked at Buick head quarters I have seen cars built that were not offered to the public. Engineers where and are required to purchase a new car every 18 months plus they drive a company car. They would take a build sheet and go to the plant and have a special car built. This could have happened or I bet the car was made as a coupe and someone had it converted after market. I used to go the fisher body all the time and walk the line watching the cars being built and then over to Buick City to watch final assembly. What fun I was shocked when I walked in an they where building a batch of cars for Mary Kay pink Buick Regal 2 and 4 door with dark red cloth interior looked like a stabbed pig HA HA.
  14. This 83 might be a factory executive car driven in the P.E.P program. Or it is an after market convertible. I would love to see some pictures of this car and the build sheet or option label in the trunk.
