    What is it?

    That makes sense to me.
  2. Great score, an early flatty is cool no matter what condition. Those parts will show up reasonably, they made millions of em.

FWIW, I have a set of those discs for Mopar 16 inch wheels for sale. They are NOS. PM me if interested. The Plymouth in the pictures are 15 inch, the set I have for sale are 16 inch.
  4. So, just where did all that radioactive waste come from? I looks like the guys survived it.
  5. One photo shows what looks like an eagle as a radiator cap. Missing in all other photos.
  6. Yup, The British cars have way to many moving parts, I had a Bentley once and was amazed at so many moving parts.
  7. Larry, That is exactly how the Ford dealership in my town went away. Its been twenty years or so and everybody got out. I wish I had my camera with me when I saw it. All the new cars in the showroom were toast. and every car in the service department as well. It was an old building with HUGE wood beams and all wood construction from back in the day. At the new dealership there was an impact wrench framed on the wall that was melted flat. Might have even been the culprit tool.
  8. I put this on my watch list. It has gone beyond my reach. Cool car. It will be interesting to see what it brings.
  9. You could be right. The books I have were published by Galen Grover in Wisconsin.

  12. It doesn't happen much any more but when I worked on outboards I would once in awhile drain a gear case and some whale oil or some whale byproduct came out. Smelly stuff for sure.
  13. Now its Steam Punk. Or something like that.
  14. The most valuable part of this car is the back glass. A guy could pull that glass and still make a few bucks on weight.
  15. The ever eternal optimist. http://portland.craigslist.org/wsc/pts/5427369735.html
  16. I am quite certain that on your Plymouth you can do it from under the car. Just run the tank down to a quarter or less.
  17. Thanks jpage. I did look on their website with no luck, I will give them a call. I have an idea that I may be able to make these. If I end up going that way I will post success or failure.
  18. Not very many with 383s even fewer with 361s. Mostly were 413s. I found that info somewhere in the past so I know its out there. This in not necessarily Plymouth but all Mopars.
  19. I wonder if you could put in a bucket of water to absorb the heat? It would have to be in deep with just your work area exposed.
  20. http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Shop/Wiring-Harness-and-Components-Speedometer-Cables/12.html?NoRedirect=true&OriginalQuery=speedometer%20cable If you order one for a Ford it will fit your Mopar.
