  1. Like you Jason I think I was born in the wrong century...... Right up until I have to go to the Dentist!
  2. Thank You Jeff!!!!!!! I am trying to assemble as many as I can and do a chart. Yours is different because the mounting holes in the window frame were not used. It might be a replacement someone used years ago although that hasn't been determined yet. Bill
  3. It's not a 1926. 1923 maybe? Sharper eyes than mine would tell.
  4. That's great stuff but I would like to see them use the equipment of the day. In 1910 I would like to see the machine that cut those bores! No micrometers back then just gage blocks and calipers. I would like to go back in time and shake their hand. Real Craftsman!
  5. My hard drive is getting full from all the photos of your car! Keep them coming! Bill
  6. Hey Jeff! I would love a close-up photo of your wiper motor when you have a chance! It's for another thread....... Bill
  7. Pete it appears you can't take your car apart for awhile! In the meantime my external hard drive for technical data is starting to squeal.......
  8. Don't ya just love that shellac smell? Take plenty of photos so it will talk me out of doing mine..... Whenever I store my cars for long periods I run down to my closest small airport and get 5 gallons of airplane fuel. Shelf life is a lot longer. Shelf life of today's fuel is 90 days. Shelf life of airplane fuel "Used to be" 5 years.
  9. Beautiful Coupe John! Also looks like a great place to live too! As Clyde Barrow said to Bonnie Parker..."Ain't Life Grand?"
  10. I had to try! Actually I was laughing so hard from the previous posts as you gents were kicking Ray about the switches I thought I would join in and kick him too! All in fun Ray! At least you have switches, my dash has empty holes except for a smashed ammeter.....
  11. On closer examination I see Ray has the optional Folberth 6 volt automatic wiper assembly! This has my research going in another direction!
  12. Willy, Here is a scan showing the same tank used from 340069 until car 929894 (116" Wheelbase). Part Number 6887 for Touring.
  13. Jason, work, work, work.....that's all I do! I'm pretty good at delegating too! I got you to post photos of your car! Whoever thought that would happen!!!!
  14. I knew you would say that! Ok, I put my Beer down and looked for this scan so I could post it......
  15. According to my research Ray the white faced ammeter started with car A701667. I can go into more detail if needed. Bill
  16. Very Nice Jason! Like you, I can do paint & body work, Engine & mechanical, but interior work I am all thumbs. It's 5 grand in my area for basic interiors. I have all the equipment to do interiors but none of the skills! When my parents were alive they reupholstered for a living. Use your best photo for your avatar! Even my hunk of junk made the avatar! Bill
  17. Heck no Ray! I meant just the opposite! With the bunch on this thread I could sit and have a beer and shoot the bullhockey all day! What? Bill
  18. So true Mike! I already have two or I would be dragging it home on the car trailer! Ray, is this the friendly thread? The weather is much better here....... Jason, There has been a major problem with all your posts! I have never seen a photo of your car! Can you start a new thread please and post some pics? Bill
  19. Wow! Too bad I was 3 weeks late! I found your wiper motor Mike that sold for $20. I did get a photo and a description: "Black painted Folberth measures approx.. 6 1/4” to cylinder end caps x 1 11/16” in diameter. “FOLBERTH, CLEVELAND O. U.S.A., PAT’D FEB 7-22” cast on cylinder. “FOLBERTH AUTO SPECIALITY CO., CLEVELAND O., PAT. FEB 7.22, OTHER PAT’S PEND.” Stamped on end cap". You need the black one on the left...... NOTE that it does NOT say Trico/Folberth! These were only produced for 3-4 years so it might be tough. We are getting closer to the breakdown on wiper motors. I still would like a "Month to month" chart showing which wipers were used from 1925 thru 1927. My next goal is to find out when Trico put their name on the castings. It's amazing what you can find out while waiting at airports.......
  20. Mike if you want to be ABSOLUTELY CORRECT you need to find a Folberth wiper motor. William Folberth received his patent in 1922. Trico and Folberth had a patent dispute that settled in 1925. (Month unknown at this time but I'm working on it) and Trico purchased Folberth for a million bucks. SOOOOOOOOOO I'm guessing at this point that Trico-Folberth wiper did not appear until 1926 or later. I will be more specific when info is known.....
  21. Sounds like you need the Folberth. I have one at home and will get the measurements for you.
  22. I am a Briggs & Stratton guy but you Clum guys might need these. 1 CLUM key blank | eBay No, I am not the seller. I think a while back someone was looking for spares.
