  1. This 1941 110 convertible belongs to a friend of mine and he's trying to find out the history of the car. He constantly hits dead ends. It was in Virginia when he bought it. Where was it before then? Who owned it? Who did the body work? The car was most likely painted, reupholstered and a new top put on in the 1970's or early 1980's. Hopefully someone on here will recognize the car.
  2. If I can get it running, yes. I'm having starting problems, and with the weather I can't get out there to work on it, and I have no garage. I could take it to a friend's garage, but it quit in the driveway. I drove it in, and next day...no start. Everything else worked, just not the starter. I need to crawl under it, and I need warmer and drier weather for that.. Keep your fingers crossed...it's coming.. and I'll get it going..
  3. I'm sure planning to be there. Just let me know where we can meet, and I'll show up....
  4. Now, would I do something like that???? Nothing, I know Nothing!!! I'm not sure Charlotte can handle two Earls... poor Chrlotte!!

  6. The best I can figure the Roadmaster takes a P225/75R-15 radial tire. I've found a set of P 225/70R-15 radials on a good buy. Will they be ok on the Roady? Will they be too small? All help is appreciated. Earl
  7. Thank you, that's one mystery solved... only a few million to go and I'll know it all. hahahaha
  8. I realize I don't get things all the time, but, when the door handles are shaved how do you open the doors? Leave a window open all the time and reach in and open it???? thanks for the info...
  9. David, That's supposed to be one word... damyankee
  10. Lamar, did you notice in the ad, that there is no mention of the missing motor and tranny? If someone buys it for a decent price, I've got a feeling they will not pay for it when they find out about the missing parts...
  11. Well if Moriarty is involved, shouldn't Sherlock Holmes be on the case?
  12. Dandy Dave, you got that car new didn't you?????
  13. Ted, I sent you a private message...Earl
  14. The keychain it about 3 1/4 inches long. I think the pictures tell it all. There is a small place on the back side. I'm holding a letter opener next to the only bad place. The keys have never been cut, so, you can have them cut for your car. Price is $30.00 which includes shipping (in US only). Any questions, please ask, Earl
  15. When you click on the link, it says deleted by author....must be sold....ok....fess up....who bought it?????
  16. To add to the colors, I've seen dark maroon, a dark gray metalic...light on the metalic and a light blue...
  17. CRex, When I got my car, that's what I did. It wasn't running well, and was hard starting, so, after everything new, it fired up like it was 1955 and it was brand new. Be sure to take the oil pan off and clean it good so there's no gook going into the motor. Also, the gas tank may need a good cleaning also. Best of luck with the work...
  18. CRex, I'm with you....if you give yourself a present, you're certain to get something you really want....
  19. If you will go to the main page and scroll down, you will see a Buick section. Under that section is a subsection on Reatta, and I'm sure someone there can tell you all you need to know... Cheers, Earl
  20. Well, it makes my heart go thump, thump, thump!!!!
  21. For some reason, my computer lost contact with AACA when I had just finished the list. I did a print screen and saved the page. I'm not sure this will 'help' with the number of plugs listed....it may make it more confusing!! At any rate, good luck with it!!
  22. Would you like for me to post the complete list of plugs for your car?
  23. I was just in the yard feeding the dog, no coat, just a nice day here. PLEASE, keep that stuff away from here....
