  2. Mr. Earl, what is the guy's email? I have some pictures of a car out that way from when I was looking, and I'd bet it's still there. Cheers, B
  3. double trouble and more fees for the sellers
  4. It might be those oh so evil fees of evilbay!!!
  5. He 'modernizes' the cars so they drive better... I do not see how anyone could improve on Packard!!!
  6. Steve, I see no text either. My comments were aimed at the title of the thread. Since it's under buy and sell, maybe it's for sale. I guess we'll have to wait for Mike to wake up and reply to us.
  7. You mean for you...go dial that number!! You've got to have something to do in your retirement...keep that brain from going stale!!!!
  8. I hope to find that out if I ever get mine back together!!!
  9. Mike, you're mixing apples and oranges. It's a 1933 alright, but it would be 10 something--- 1001-1002-1003, not sure which. What's the wheelbase? Or, someone may be able to just look at the picture and tell which model it is.. I can't....
  10. You'd better not let Rita find out you're going off with your love or she'll run over you with one of those Buicks!!! And, don't have a heart attack while your on your trip.....hahahahahahahahahahahaha
  11. And Mr. Earl needs to leave that stumphole alone....they run that stuff through radiators and batteries...makes you loose your sight....
  12. Mr. Earl, like Rick told Chumlee, exotic dancers make lots of money....get yourself a small speedo, and put up an ad in the Atlanta Journal...go for it!!!!! No telling how much people would pay you to stay clothed!!!!
  13. Mr. Earl, where is Sherlock Holmes when you need him??
  14. Well, Bryan, in all honesty, it isn't what you'd call run of the mill.... what other word would you use other than rare... How many do you know of? This is the only one I've seen, other than Mr. Earl's '54, Century. And seen neither one in person...only pictures.
  15. Mr. Earl, do get some pictures...I think the key word in that advertisement is "project".
  16. Remember, a few months back, there was a teacher and his son who were restoring a '55 three speed... I'd bet this is the car. I can't think what their thread was called, but they had several posts on it, and pictures, if someone is smarter than I am and look for it.. I think it was under Me and My Buick....

Jack, I think you're mixing apples and oranges. Broadrick Crawford was in Highway Patrol. Joe E. Ross and Fred Gwynne Were in Car 54 Where Are You? Ross played Gunther Toody and Gwynne played Francis Muldoon. Hope this clears it up for you. Crawford did drive a 1955 Buick as I explained in post 28. I think Car 54 was a Dodge or Plymouth.

Dan Matthews drove a Buick for sure, a 1955. It was one of 50some made especially for law enforcement. I think most went to California. It was a Special body, badged as a Century with a Roadmaster motor. The car was a 2-door sedan..with post ..and that body style did not come in a Century. If the crooks knew cars, it woiuld stand out like a sore thumb if used for undercover, even if painted Buick colors. Dan's car and the others were marked as CHP cars. There are still some of the cars around..
