  3. The show at the Packard Proving Grounds on June 8th is the Cars R Stars show now. The next weekend at the Ford house Grosse Pt is the Eyes on Design show. Is that what you are thinking about?   4. My two questions would be 1. are the rebuilt cylinders available and 2.what is the price of the rebuilt cylinders compared to the kit. My experience has been that sometimes the price difference is so small that I just get the rebuilt cylinders which usually come with a good warranty.

  7. I have seen a similar technique where you lay the washer down, the nut on top and then weld in the center of the nut to the broken stud.

  12. If you are talking about the ignition switch from the steering column, yes you will need to remove the steering wheel. You will need to have a couple of special tools to get to the switch. Here is a link that may help. http://www.keybitslockandkey.com/los.../gm/gmlock.htm
