  1. Take out the lights. You may still have the linkage inside. The lens and reflector are made by riteway. Then there is an outside ring that holds the lens in with V-clips. 38 Plymouth parts will not work.
  2. My book only goes to 1940 and the highest number is 877465. Your radiator is probably in the late 40's
  3. If you are getting that much pressure in the crankcase, could be a cracked piston. Do a compression check. If one is low that could be the problem.
  4. You must have a Desoto or Chrysler engine. Look at the front of the engine below where the head is bolted and see what the serial number is. From that we can tell what engine and year it is. This may help in buying other parts.
  5. Late 30's Mopar. Fits above the steering column attached to the firewall.
  6. I think this is the sheet that WK66 was trying to add: bb1.PDF
  7. See below for the tightening sequence from the 38 Dodge shop manual: dodge head .PDF

  9. 548 fits a 1955 Ford farm machine Wisc VF-4, VP-4D
  10. If you get new wheel cylinders you better check the bore size. I bought new replacement wheel cylinders for a my 38 Dodge, The outside and bolt patterns were just like original. The bore size was not correct. Sent them back.
  11. My 35 Plymouth top insert material was flat; no pattern
  12. Earl, still have the Dodge. You have the sunny days all year now.
  13. Had a 35 Plymouth and the top material was held in a grove around the edge with a rubber gasket about 1/2" x 3/4. This was tapped in with a rubber hammer. You got 4 short pieces to hold the corners to start and removed them as you worked the long gasket around the top. See attached from the 35 Plymouth maintenance manual. Plymouth top.PDF
  14. Willys Overland ended in 1926 and then became Whippet. You may have some other Willys model. Model 66 could be a 1929 Willys Knight (sleeve valve engine). Serial number? Serial number should be on a plate on the frame. The wire wheels were probably and option. 4 or 6 cylinder engine?
  15. see below ac fuel pump.PDF
  16. The picture is a 1921 REO. The REO serial numbers for 1921 went from 24301 to 34500.
  17. Try Rock Auto. At least they tell you the manufacturer of the part. Auto Parts Fast at RockAuto
  18. maybe this will help Maxwell.PDF
  19. Check the accelerator pump. With the engine off, look down the throat and move the accelerator linkage. You should get an instant squirt of gas. If not this is the problem. The pump could be bad or the oriface clogged. This will also make the car hard to start when cold. What carburetor do you have on the car?

  21. Try this; don't know if there is a minimum order: Wheel Studs and Bolts on Automotive Fasteners Inc.
  22. There was a REO club member that had them made. He was selling them at the REO meet in Canada 2 years ago. You might want to put a want ad in the REO magazine.
  23. My Carter book shows model 188S and 200S for the 1931 SA Desoto. Must of had a 3rd one?
