  2. Has anyone else noticed the total absence of anything being advertised about the museum expo this Sat? It's not even on the home page calender. I know this forum isn't the center of the universe, but if you were having a benafit for something wouldn't you want somebody to be there?

  5. The INDY museum always has a few Millers on display, easily recognised by the grille. 1937hd45, by AACA standards would the 122 be a hotrod that was raced or a race car that was hotrodded?
  6. It's probably headed to Hershey for the big parade on Milton's birthday. After they tried to give everything away last year, now they want to celabrate it's existance. BTW, if I remember right the kissmobile is Rabbit deisel powered.
  7. Thanks for the pics, but they don't do the place justice. You need to see it in person. Neatest "car" there is the White in the basement, 34 I think, that the woman Dr. had built especially for her after White had stopped making cars. I can't imagine the forearms it took to drive it. Any pics of it? Also, the windshield wiper on the Pierce Arrow, is it an accessory? Looked like a long vaccumm tube the whole width of the car.
  8. Hey Jan, last winter I tried the box of baking soda in my Buick. A mouse got in the car and the little SOB used the baking soda for a litter box.

  14. Whatup with the DB classified section? It hasn't seemed to work for the last few days.
  15. Have you checked valve adjustment? Could be they are tight. How about compression hot and cold?
  16. Are they oil soaked? If so, try brakeclean or carbon tet, if you can find it.
  17. yellow with a cd player would make it rare for 63
  18. most every motor is the same. start with the center bolt and work in a clockwise direction, working to the outermost bolts. it helps to draw a diagram or number bolts with a marker. pull all the bolts to 1/3, then all the bolts to 2/3,then full torque. it's a good idea to go back and give them another final pull, too. make sure you oil the threads before starting. make sure all threads have had a die and tap run over them.
  19. determine month your car was built, then look on ebay for manual printed just before car was built. as they improved the cars, they also changed the manuals. it might only a slight variation, but the manuals changed often. look at the latest Dodge Brothers newsletter for a list of manuals and print dates. also, you could advertise on Dodge Brothers website in want ads.
  20. looked at my neighbor's 23 aussie rhd this weekend. his has normal 3/4 elliptical springs. sorry couldn't help, but would like to see pictures of your car to compare. his body is aluminium, as you english say.
