  1. Hi Marty, Thanks. I believe I found the connector to the fuse box. A blue connector under the steering column, right? Next, to find the blue 10GA cable that runs back to the trailer connector. Thanks, again.

  10. Hi, Almost!! I went out to start up the Chrysler to take a neighbor to the free Vet's Day lunch at Applebys but the battery wasn't happy enough to turn the starter. Perhaps a new battery is due. The date on the one in the car now is August, 2001! Nice weather hear today. Saw someone on the way with their Model T.
  11. Hi Stonefish, Please don't try to take it with you on your next plane trip!!!

  13. Hi, Sandy has lost nearly all "her" energy here in Western NY. Cloudy day with some drizzles. Back to Hershey finds. Not a big find, but a rare one; a motor cylinder pet cock, Packard part # 101603. Unique to our 3rd Series Twin Six. 1/8 pipe thread, with a 30 degree opening on the cup end. Probably paid too much for it, but will easily clean up for plating.
  14. Hi cBen, We have the wind here in Canandaigua, NY, but might not send it to Maine. Latest map has the eye going up Interstate 81 from Harrisburg, PA on the way to Montreal. Keep your powder dry!!
  15. Hershey Moxie Tasting Update Thursday, October 11th, 4:00PM, Space C2I-44 From a rough tally, we had over 40 brave souls show up for the 2nd annual Moxie tasting on Thursday afternoon. We observed only one lady who declined to finish her sample. At the other extreme, two young folk asked for refills. Save the date for the 3rd annual: Thursday, October 10, 2013. Same time and place. Folks on the first photo: Jay Wolf, Vincennes, IN, Getta Chang, Birmingham, AL, Dave Krieg, Dubuque, IA, Bill Boudway, Canandaigua, NY, Gerald Greenfield, Seattle, WA, Tom Harris, Salem, OR, Eric Miller, Los Angeles, CA, and Adrian Taylor, Seattle, WA On the third photo: Rick Hayford and Ken from Cape Neddick, ME
  16. Sorry, but to the best of my knowledge, none of the Moxiemobiles made it this year.
  17. Hi, I plan to sell so much that I don't need to bring money. As a mater of fact, I schedule an armored truck for pick-up of cash at my space early Saturday morning.
  18. Hi, Yes, all are welcome. See you there. No donations asked. Don't want to offend the HERCO folks.
  19. Get your taste buds in shape for the 3rd annual MOXIE tasting. Thursday afternoon, October 11th, 4:00PM at Space # C2I-44 in the Chocolate Field. New this year will be a chance to identify the taste. Possibly a prize for the most creative answer. Sorry, but we're not allowed to sell any beverages in the flea market.
  20. That would be 600wt steam cylinder oil. I'm not sure what the modern weight designation is. Available from Mac's Auto Parts, or any lube oil distributor. I bought a 5-gallon pail from our local distributor last year, and hope that it will last a lifetime in our Chrysler.
  21. Moxie tasting 4:00 PM Thursday, Space C2I-44 in the Chocolate field.
  22. Hi, Yes, Jim. I have Maine plates on our trailer, GVACS has them on the club trailer, and also, Thorps have registered their trailers in Maine now. You still can be stopped and cited for no safety chains, lights out, etc. Just common sense items. I was stopped by a local officer who wanted to know why I had Maine plates. I told him that we had property there and that made him happy. The pluses: Two year registration, no inspections, and reasonable fees ($12.00/year)
  23. OK, here is is, from the 2012 Farmer's Almanac: For Region 3, October 7-11, "Scattered showers, warm":o
