  1. Thanks! I was pretty sure but didn't want to try to sell it misrepresented.
  2. It's your choice of course, but these never came from the factory with "sandwiched" colors. On small body Buicks in 57, they were only two-toned with a second color below the sweepspear.
  3. It will be awhile before you need the new ones. I'd recommend pulling the body off to see exactly what you have and ensure you get the correct ones also.
  4. Yeah, doesn't sound like mechanical engine failure. Definitely fixable.
  5. I got this years ago in a stash of NOS Buick parts, and this looks to be NOS as well, but has lost its packaging. Any idea? It was labeled 39-40 but I thought those had an integrated lock.
  6. I got this years ago in a stash of NOS Buick parts, and this looks to be NOS as well, but has lost its packaging. Any idea? I think it may be correct for a 65 Wildcat/LeSabre/ Electra. Can anyone confirm? Part that sticks out is exactly 8 inches and the mounting holes are directly adjacent on the skirt of the bezel. Oddly there is no part number cast into it anywhere.
  7. I would reuse the trunk emblem seal; I think your only hope would be to find NOS for it anyway. You can lightly coat it with some black silicone before reapplying or and it will be fine.
  8. Website says $34,500 now. That seems like a good deal!
  9. I like to keep cars stock unless it's a blatant custom, but must say I get more tempted every year to install one of these systems.
  10. In my estimation perhaps the best way to tell if the car had it is whether the manual override valve is present in center under the dash. Many cars had components of suspension removed, but this valve operated from under center of dash usuallt remained.
  11. Regarding the air-poise, I've never seen a Limited that didn't come with it; I wonder how many there were?
  12. Thanks... I've got one but it's been awhile since I looked through it and didn't remember that it had these pages
  13. Looks like a well-preserved low mileage car, and if what we don't see presents as such it's a helluva deal!
