Have not gotten it removed from the car yet so no picture but need the factory positive cable that is one piece with the splice connector in the middle (Can't find my manual right now) for the solenoid and also has small gauge wire contained in the main going to the starter from solenoid. Basically one wire jumps all from the battery to solenoid to starter. All I am coming up with is a standard cable. I guess I can always 2 piece it if the factory type is unobtanium. 63 custom 880's were basically Chrysler Newport's.

I more commenting on the placement. You seem to be needing to look everywhere but where you're going. I did not know this was a splasher engine. New to me. Did this just monitor the amount then ? Yes, the red light for the average driver screams "check me" unless your the normal driver of today where the "check engine" light just means to pull over at your convenience when the rod knock gets too loud to be drowned out by the radio. 20 something year old at the shop with a locked up motor. " Well the add oil light never came on and since it was still running why check the engine, it's not broke"

I have a survivor 1950 Chrysler that the trunk fit is terrible. I have been all over it looking for anyway to get it squared in the opening but the opening isn't square. Looking at the lower edge of the door opening the problem looks to be with the fender drooping at the nose (?) -
Says a brake leak. This car has 6 wheel cylinders and those parts are easy to find. Bernbaums, MoparPro. Heck everything on this car is easy. I was surprised when I did the wheel cylinders on my 31 Plymouth just how much they didn't change except in size. Still just a basic carryover from 41-42. The front floor pan comes out for clutch repair.

My Dad was chief of BP FD in the early 70's and I remember these trucks going out of service. Most on LI were donated to small upstate, NY, departments. Sad thing is these always had extremely low miles, always garaged, and were maintained to high standards. Until they got donated to a rural department where many sat outside or in a lean-too until something broke and then were pushed aside as they begged for another donation to fill the spot. Not cheap by any means when new. Blue Point FD finally took their 1956 Mack out of service in 2005 where it became the "antique truck" for parades and tournaments and that replaced the 1934 American LaFrance which is now is a museum and used for special occasions. Spent many a day growing up on this truck and it carried my father from the funeral home to his final resting spot after a tour around town as my brother and I rode on the back. Old fire trucks are pretty cool. Especially original and unrestored. Lots of history rode with these trucks. -

I found my 53 Plymouth survivor that I drive to work twice a week for 1700. Just needed the water distribution tube replaced. They had tried to stop the overheating with a new rad and water pump. I installed new brakes and ran evaporust for 3 months. 54k original miles. This guy turned a 2k car into a parts car if that -
