  1. What is this one worth? 1939 Buick Century 81
  2. Doris Day Show Convertible to show off the hat.
  3. I tried to report it. It looked like an obvious fraud. It is not easy to report fraud. You are asked Why are you reporting this? What's wrong? The burden is upon you to spell out exactly which of eBay's listing policies is being violated! Are they trying to sell outside of eBay to avoid eBay seller fees? If so what proof do you have of that? The only thing eBay cares about is protecting their right to collect their fees.
  4. This person has several classic cars for sale like a dealer but at prices that don't make sense. And does not disclose the location of this "dealership." So I'd say it is the type of scam where you are asked to pay a deposit to hold it for you. Then your deposit is lost. 5. http://bringatrailer.com/listing/1964-studebaker-avanti-4/ Location: Wilmington, Delaware 19804 This 1964 Studebaker Avanti is a round-headlight example that was reportedly sold new in North Hollywood, California and was repainted in red over a black vinyl interior at some point during the 1990s. Power is from a 289ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission, and equipment includes power-assisted steering and brakes as well as air conditioning and power windows.
  6. Sounds like a good idea. I could even use it for my laptop, which dies quickly. We don't seem to have that brand but we have this, http://www.amazon.com/GOOLOO-20800mAh-SuperSafe-Portable-Protection/dp/B06XY35D93 GOOLOO 1000A Peak 20800mAh SuperSafe Car Jump Starter with USB Quick Charge 3.0 (Up to 8.0L Gas, 6.0L Diesel Engine) 12V Auto Battery Booster Portable Charger Power Pack Built-in Smart Protection, $89.99

  8. I suspect earlier El Caminos are worth a lot more than a 1980.
  9. The bring-a-trailer site seems to be getting the best results. It is an auction, but you can set a reserve. Seems to cost $99 plus for the buyer there is a fee that's a percentage of the sales price. They have requirements though. You would need a complete set of photos showing all aspects of the vehicle, including the undercarriage photos taken on a lift, or they won't list it for you.
  10. This car is an extreme rare find, and all original except for the new fuel system which was replaced last summer (fuel tank, sending unit, fuel pump and rebuilt carburetor), and new rear wheel cylinders. The car still has the original factory tires on it and the factory upholstery coverings were never removed. The car is equipped with the 318 poly head V8 and push button automatic transmission. It also has power steering, power brakes and air conditioning. This car is a true survivor and a one of a kind with just over 10,000 miles and still has the new car smell!!!
  11. I am wondering if sending a "request for payment" gives them some way to hack your account? There might be some way for them to steal your paypal password that way.
  12. http://bringatrailer.com/listing/1973-citroen-sm-16/ There happens to be one of these up for auction now. 1973 Citroen SM 3.0 Automatique
  13. We still need to know who made this one. If it was not from a "Tiffany Electric" could it be from the jewelry and lamp maker? I'd say no since they used "Tiffany & Co." since well before the 1920's. TIFFANY & CO.—founded in New York City in 1837
  14. https://forums.aaca.org/topic/128956-191314-tiffany-electircs/ It's funny how an internet search of "Tiffany Step Plate" brought only one result, and it was right back here on the AACA Forum!
  15. Not many Kaiser Darrins in Ho Chi Minh City. Plenty of this though, I bet.
  16. If I were to install solar panels, the most I could do would be to "zero-out" my electricity bill. My last month's electric bill was only $29. My gas bill was $17.00! I would need to use a lot more electricity to justify installing panels. I have a gas wall heater, gas water heater, and gas cook stove. But why switch those to electric? They don't cost me much on my gas bill. If I could generate $200 in a month worth of electricity with solar photo-voltaic panels, I would only get a $29 credit on my bill ( zero it out ).
  17. Here is one of them, noted Stanford climate scientist, had gone on speaking tours about global warming, who in his earlier years predicted cooling, Stephen Schneider. t is projected that man's potential to pollute will increase six- to eightfold in the next 50 years. If this increased rate of injection of particulate matter in the atmosphere should raise the present background opacity by a factor of 4, our calculations suggest a decrease in global temperature by as much as 3.5 °K. Such a large decrease in the average temperature of Earth, sustained over a period of few years, is believed to be sufficient to trigger an ice age. However, by that time, nuclear power may have largely replaced fossil fuels as a means of energy production.[6] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephen_Schneider Bill Wattenburg on KGO radio used to make fun of him.
