  1. It would be interesting to have a temperature sensor on the Radiator outlet. as well as the inlet, to see how much temperature drop the radiator and fan was giving you. Maybe something to consider in the future if radiator performance is still in question.
  2. By 1937 only 977 Lincoln Model Ks were built, negligible production balanced against the Zephyr's production of over 29,000. ... its innovative 75-degree V-12 engine, developed directly from the Ford flathead V-8, with 267 cubic inches displacement and 110 horsepower, a power plant that continued the V-12 tradition of Lincoln's famed Model K super-luxury series but at reasonable cost. https://hymanltd.com/vehicles/4900-1937-lincoln-zephyr-v-12/
  3. Owner wanted you all to know he put it on the Lincoln Owners Club forum, where his phone number is clearly visible. Facebook obscured the phone number. https://loc.clubexpress.com/content.aspx?page_id=2155&club_id=546775&item_id=1170770
  4. Someone could make a pattern from a picture like that. And some key dimensions from the actual boat.
  5. One of my neighbors, a "car enthusiast," bought a 1953 Rolls Royce with a Cadillac engine in it. Maybe 10 or 12 years ago. I assume he got it cheap. Also he only kept it a few years, maybe 5. He said it was a dog. But it was funny to see him driving around this low income rural neighborhood in a vintage Rolls. And it was very nice looking, the light tan leather interior. Why'd he buy it? Who knows. He has money from rental home income and can afford to buy stuff just for fun. Doesn't ever like to lose money though so I assume he bought it cheap then sold it for break even. Mostly he liked to go to hotrod shows like Hot August Nights in Reno with his chopped Merc with the Camaro engine. Maybe he had wanted to sit in the back of the Rolls and have me drive him around? But I never offered to do that.
  6. Yreka, CA It's on Facebook Marketplace. Just look it up. More pictures showing the engine coming Monday supposedly.
  7. Someone may make an offer to buy it cheap, for the drivetrain, or as a parts vehicle or whatever.
  8. It’s been sitting in the shop for storage. Engine is frozen. All the sheet metal is there. It obviously needs work! It’s a project for sure! The tires do hold air.
  9. There were boats of various lengths (Fay and Bowen), but the "long decker" apparently refers to one that's 27 foot. http://www.antiqueboatamerica.com/Boat/27_Feet_1927_Fay_Bowen_Long_Deck_Launch_40171

  19. Working on my daily driver 2002 Toyota pickup, figuring out what an IAC is, a Idle Air Controller, and why it doesn't run. It went from running fine, to where you'd start it and it would just die. Completely undriveable. Guess what a new IAC costs at the dealer? $444.65, and that's just for the part. A very small part. No installation.
  20. Yeah my brother and his friend made themselves a roadster like that in high school, or shortly after high school, and gave themselves some sort of name. I have some pictures of them with it. That would have been very late 1950's. But it was a fenderless Ford bucket roadster of some sort.
