  1. The process on fabricating new roof bows for the Bill's 1916 DB, is progressing nicely,. The first try bending the old pine was a major disaster, I was able to acquire some white oak,. Steamed it for 2 hours, then installed in fixture, oak bent very easy with no cracking noted,. Will remove from fixture tommorrow and steam another. 3 more to go, I will make another set and bring with me to New Jersey meet, If someone is interested, let me know.
  2. The yearly Dodge Brothers club International meet tour, June 19,2016 to June 24,2016. Will probably have about over 100,. Always a great time. go to DodgeBrothersclub.org
  3. This is what I have to work with, the ones on it were laminated, but I ripped some old pine, the ones on it were broken off at the mounts,. Measuring as you can see 59". Across. Bows are 1 by 1 1/2" , I measured off from where they were broken 74" and added 8 per side, I am starting with pieces 90 inch long . I will bend after steaming, then fit to the mounts to get the correct flow of roof. , bending 1 extra, will see how it turns out
  4. I have bows which were on car ,looking for 1916 touring Pattern or deminsions for roof bows to compare, the back and front seem to be 2 inches longer the the middle 2
  5. Sent you a Pm with all contact, , he was in process of moving
  6. That is a pretty complete car, should be a good restoration
  7. I had been running wheels on car for the last year, running true, i demounted tires and he did Powdercoat, then I remounted, i would not attemp to adjust spokes after process, what you got is it.
  8. Shane, does a lot of business for oil and gas , he puts a electrochemical coating then heats it, then Powdercoat, the anodized coat is a thin layer for rust protection, I mounted them this morning, only 1 minor chip, happy with the end result!
  9. the wheels on 1930 DA were pealing and chipping, I discovered a powdercoater locally,. $65 per wheel, strips acid dips, the puts a anodized coating, then three coats of paint,. Came out excellent,. Will remount tomorrow.
  10. Great news, I saw in another Post L & L trim is back in business, apparently Brad was moving shop. I will contact him a get correct trim for DA
  11. 25 is low normally around 75 to 90. Max difference of 10% between cylinder, if low squirt oil and recheck , if goes up rings , if stays same valves, You can use a differential test with shop air to determine exhaust or intake, listen for leak,
  12. Nice car and video, very similar to my 1930 DA, except , I have both side wheels and truck in back,, instrument panel looks the same , engine compartment same,
  13. I would not use 100 octane foe extended use. Aircraft reciprocating engines use Sodium filled exhaust valves in order to use high octane aviation gas, do to higher temperatures. We are lucky here in Louisiana, a lot of station have low octane regular gas without ethnol to use on recreation outboard motors,
  14. Looks the same shape as mine, just a little more rustic.
  15. what were looking for? i think I had another Brain Burp! i am glad you found it Jesse
  16. I have 36 also different size less than 3 It seems the 32 is different, Richard ,on eBay is a material for making exhaust gasket, it is ceramic impregnated, not expensive You will have to cut to size, Jesse
  17. Richard, the black one is 5/64 and doesn't have ridge, The copper one on eBay is 1/8 with a ridge, I measured the one for 35 KC it is only 215/16 on center, and flat also, I f I haven't got one, I would have no problem cutting one from gasket material, with no sealant, if surface is flat. good luck Jesse
  18. this is the one i got i know yours is reversed ehaust out back but i think the way manifold go together is the same dimension this one is made of gasket material got it in kit from tom at early vintage dodge jesse
  19. Is this the shape of your gasket, this is the one for 30 six cylinder, , I think it is the same, I have a extra one, Jesse
  20. I wonder why , when you look at list of tool for Dodge six, a hammer and plyers are included, and no bonny wrench for the water pump, ? As the description says , Tools made of best quality and ALL of the tools to maintain car. Sometimes when you are on the road, away from you home base and complete inventory of tools, you improvise, in order to get home!!
