AACA Hornets' Nest/Charlotte AutoFair 2017
AnniesSS replied to Bruce Jones's topic in AACA - Shows and Tours
There's a specific tool that you need to remove the pulley and yes it does get reused I would love to have a 72 to work on Actually, any 3 door 68-72 Suburban would be fantastic, as I find I enjoy having the room that my Burb affords and don't think I could ever drive something smaller on a daily basis lol -

Thanks Guys!! I feel the love We're Carolina Hurricanes Season Ticket holders, and well, Charlotte is also the last game of the season and my Canes are having a FANTASTIC year, so I don't want to miss the last game.... hopefully cheering them onto a Playoff run! However, we are planning on going to Ocala in February. Hopefully with the the Burb... But it needs a new power steering pump and have been a bit unsuccessful at getting the pulley pump to do said job... so if you are nearby and have one to loan me, that would make things a tag easier But we'll still be in Ocala to attend and I'll still judge. -

Is there any chance the 'Editor' seminar will be recorded for those of us VERY interested, but unable to make it?? -

A year after we moved to NC, we bought our first home.... a year or so later, the rear end on my 1990 454SS finally went out. Being new homeowners, my pickup sat for a few years. One Christmas, my husband surprised me with a new Eaton True Trac for the pickup! I was ecstatic!! I was finally able to drive my baby again. Until after we put the rear in, the transmission went out and it sat for another year, but that's another story

After reading the letter I received yesterday - and only 2 of the 10-11 PAGES of comments on the topic.... My opinion of the club or of the museum hasn't changed one bit. It doesn't affect my daily life in any way. While I'm disappointed that a merger - one which I knew nothing about - couldn't be reached, I'm confident that everything that could be done or said, has been done and I'm glad that a decision to stop negotiations has been reached because really.... how much longer do you want this dead horse beat!? Thanks Steve for taking the time to address some of the comments and questions posted here. Thanks for all you and the Board does to keep this club going. You have my support, if it means anything to any one

Then there was another with a 454.... very clean, but not as nice as the other. It didn't sell at $8k

There were 2 Suburbans this past weekend in the Raleigh Classic Auction - one that was immaculate, 38k on the odometer, 350.... sold for $28,000

Being able to get my sister to come visit us during Thanksgiving.... It will be my mom's 65th birthday (It's a surprise - SHHHHH) and the first time my sister will be travelling to spend time here over Thanksgiving - she works for UPS on Long Island, need I say more?! My sister's fiance had a kidney transplant in January and has been cleared to receive a pancreas and hopefully NOT BE Type-1 Diabetic anymore. I managed to set up most of my Christmas display - I put up about 30,000 lights in my front yard Next weekend I'll finish The Carolina Hurricanes beat the Washington Capitals 5-1 last night I wake up every single morning and smile -

But the fact remains that NO ONE was hurt thankfully and I think many people have learned a valuable lesson from someone else's mistake. -

Actually, the North Fork is/was a favorite of mine and I have been out there many times! Again, wish I knew him when he was still with us and I still lived on LI Being a South Shore girl, I enjoyed the difference in the terrain and much less traffic -

Nope - this man has a beard and is laying his hands all over the car. I don't think Jay would do that to someone else's car, especially after what it has been through. So glad no one was hurt, but it's sad to see what happened. I'm really hoping no one messed with the car. I've never had anyone touch my trucks without me being there and my permission (as far as I know) but things can happen. -
True but I don't tow. I just drive the HPOF truck to all the shows. :-)
