  1. This is my first time showing at Hershey and I think we are going to try entering the HPOF class. How many people go to the Saturday night Banquet? If my truck is certified in HPOF, do I pick that up at the banquet? Is it possible to go after the dinner to pick it up? Thanks!
  2. Is Roger here on the forums frequently? I sent him a private message and haven't heard back yet.
  3. Thanks Matthew BTW, do you go every year?
  4. Thanks for the clarification. The original owner had the front end and the barn doors repainted, so HPOF would not be an option. Appreciate your time
  5. My husband and I are debating which class to enter - HPOF or DPC. I've read the Judging Guidelines and it looks like we could be in either class. I'm the 2nd owner of a 89 Suburban which the original owner had all of the work done at a dealership and is all documented. While we think we could enter HPOF, what happens when we get to Hershey and they say no, it shouldn't be in this class. Can we put the truck in DPC or what happens? Will they change us or do we not get judged? Just trying to see what to expect.
  6. Where can I find this? Like I said, my father in law has been going for over 40 years as a spectator.... Being hooked on this show won't be a bad thing in our family
  7. I don't think I can enter the HPOF class because part of the truck was painted by the original owner. However, is the judging manual what I received when I joined, or something else? Thanks John
  8. Nope! This is my first of any AACA event. I've attended as a spectator, but I know this will be different.
  9. I've been going to local and larger regional shows for years, but will be entering my 1989 Suburban in the "daily driver" (I know that's not the correct name) class at Hershey this year and wondered what to expect as this show is leaps and bounds different from the rest. We will be driving up from Raleigh NC and hoping it doesn't rain - as usual. All of you veterans who have been there and done that, please fill me in on the ins and outs of showing at Hershey! Thanks in advance and I look forward to reading your tips, tricks and stories
