  1. I like it. And the owner doesn’t think he has an expensive “rare” car. Reasonable price even with what looks like some surface rust. Make it safe and away you go.
  2. And I have been gone for 10 years so my data is old. Newer members might equal newer cars.
  3. My experience is somewhat similar except the local that I was in seemed to be primarily consisting of pre 1970 cars. Mostly 40’s through 60’s with a scattering of pre war vehicles. When I bought my 1980 Volare four door sedan I got laughed at by some members for buying a piece of junk. Just a few of them it’s true, but some. My experience at the National event I attended was different as the car was welcomed by several members though that said mostly those who owned “newer” models.
  4. If you decide you want a Plymouth there is the National Plymouth Owners Club. It also has local chapters but that can be a bit of a misnomer because they are somewhat scattered throughout the country. I was in it for ten years and they are mostly very nice folks.
  5. I had read years ago that the M151 model wasn’t sold as surplus due to “interesting “handling characteristics. I can’t remember where I read it but that said I have never seen one on the road.
  6. I always was scared to death of the radial arm saw I purchased from a friend. I never really seemed to be able to cut much with it without shooting at least one piece around the room. I finally gave it away and haven’t missed it since.
  7. And I sold my 1966 TR 4A for $400. We won’t discuss what I sold the TR 3 for.
  8. I cannot remember when I last saw one of these on the road. Maybe when .i was a young teenager. I thought they were and still are really eye catching.
  9. Poor tired lookin’ thing. Located in one of those places where it is two days drive from nowhere.
  10. It’s nice but in the real world I believe the price is optimistic.
  11. My daughter lives in Wausau. Thank goodness she and her family are in Mexico this week otherwise who knows what might happen. (They have a big two car garage they rarely use).
  12. Is the distributor advance system working correctly? Vacuum and/or mechanical.
  13. It does look really good. But is that a piece of the body missing from the lefy rear near the bumper? When I expand it it looks that way but is somewhat blurry so I can’t be sure
  14. Nice car says the obviously biased reader. I wonder what work is needed? Still unless there is a major problem the price is on the money. Better pictures would be good as although I have pretty good night vision it is not good enough to interpret shady photos.
  15. After all look what happened to E Bay motors. Ads sit for months without a bid. Starting bids of $5000 are not uncommon. Even for complete junk.
