I think many of them really have no clue what folks who really shop for old cars are looking at when they do. Modern car shoppers seem to look for a pretty vehicle with all kinds of electronics. Maybe the sellers think a nice picture and of course at least some modernization is all that’s required. And of course converted to 12 volts.😹

1949 Dodge Coronet - $10,500 (Springfield KY)

As stated, pretty but overpriced. -
Yeah except that is not my quote. It was me quoting Larry Schramm. I tend to agree with 7th Son

And inevitably those who play “chicken” like on other roads.

Yes, I believe that is where they are located. Every color I ordered from them has been spot on.

I have purchased paint from these folks and been happy with the accuracy of the color match just using the paint code. Around here suppliers of automotive paint are becoming seriously thin on the ground. NAPA was my major supplier and they stopped selling it years ago. I don’t think any of the other National chains carry it at least here north of Chicago. The I pad for reasons of its own won’t let me copy and paste the site but a Google search for automotive touch up brings them up first. That is also the company name.

I have used those for many touch ups and a few more than touchups over the years and have been very satisfied with the results. It is low pressure obviously and you still can get runs if not careful. Since I learned to mix paint by eye and feel I cannot really suggest mixing strategy but good prep work as always makes the job.

And if there is ever an EMP blast my two old Plymouths will not care one little bit. Of course I wouldn’t be surprised if such a thing occurred that our beloved leaders would “encourage” us to donate our cars for the common good. Donate being spelled”confiscate” -
1962 Rambler Classic 400 $8,750 Low Low miles

I like it. Maybe priced a little high depending on the aforementioned areas. Minneapolis could be rusty. -
My late Father in Law often talked about the 1950 Hudson convertible that he bought used after he got out of the service in 1952 or so. Bragged about driving up US 12 from Northeast Illinois to Minneapolis in something like 8-9 hours. He said many times he wished he had kept it. Although with 8 kids it might have been a challenge.

There are companies that will scan photos and place them on line in a digital format. We used a company In Arizona to do our 50+ years of family photos. Not cheap for my income level but certainly easier than lugging around dozens of albums. We used a company called I Memories. Others are around as well.
