For reference on how the mid-'30's Fisher B-Bodies were built, here are three interior images of a rough 1936 Cadillac 60 that shared the same body with Oldsmobile, Buick and LaSalle and possibly Pontiac.

I can't say for sure there are none, but I do recall an on-line advertisement almost twenty years ago for the remnants of a 1927-1928 Model E convertible sedan in South America. The Model E was powered by the same OHV 268.3 ci six-cylinder engine manufactured by Wisconsin utilized by the Model D.

The Standard Catalog of American Cars, 1805-1942, Edited by Kimes and Clark states the following regarding the production by model years and series: 1919-1920 Model A & 1921 - prior to July 1923 Model B: 188 cars. July 1923-1924 Model C, 48 cars & ~1925-1926 Model D, 28 cars. 1927-1928 Model E: 83 cars plus 2 Model F on a 136" wheelbase. 1929-1932 Model G: 273 cars plus 3 Model H on 146" wheelbase.

There were also a number of good ~$1,000 six-cylinder choices within the same wheelbase and engine size range. It was a tough time to be a dealer for any of these makes. Although the Marmon Roosevelt, by then Marmon 70, you mentioned was in the $1K price range, its wheelbase and engine size were substantially smaller than its competitors. Steve

Notwithstanding my lax attention to the make nameplate and pertinent details, the same concept of reducing the two-door coach price to first parity then less than the open touring car was applied to the Hudson. For 1923, the coach was still $25 more than the touring: $1,375 versus $1,350 respectively, 46,337 Hudsons sold. For 1924, the coach price was $1,395; the touring: $1,500, overall sales increased to 59,427. For 1925, the coach was $1,165; the touring $1,200, sales increased to 109,840 cars sold. Prices for four door sedans were diminishing as well. In response to the Hudson-Essex lead, other automakers had reduced the price of their least expensive two-door sedan or coach to parity with or less than the open touring. 1925 was the tipping point, the first year the closed body styles outsold the open styles.
