  1. It definitely a Dodge. Here is a rear view of how one looks like. It shares the same fender shape and other telltale features.
  2. I agree here. This car is too far gone to restore. There's not much that could be salvaged because of it's construction. It's best to just preserve it.
  3. It could very well be Chinese also. I have seen some photos of Chinese Packards that had been found sitting in various structures but I can't seem to locate them now. They appeared to have the older body style similar to the OP's photo.
  4. It would have fared much better being left above ground all those years. The Titanic is doing much better after nearly 100 years at the bottom of the ocean.
  5. Never heard of one either. I was thinking it was something like a Ciera but I was quite wrong. 1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme International Coupe 2.3L 4-cyl. 5-speed Manual Features and Specs
  6. Not quite, the Russian ZIS was based on a later Packard.
  7. 63/64 Rivieras as these two are nearly identical to each other except for engines and transmissions and minor trim differences.
  8. Perhaps they weren't that desirable at the time they were made. Now they the most desirable based on how their prices are increasing.
  9. The only problem I've had with AC plugs was the ceramics would break very easily if dropped.
  10. TLC could mean a "total lost cause" in this case. It's about as solid as a cream puff.
  11. Nothing really wrong with either the Dynaflow nor the 425 if they weren't abused. Were there really any Rivieras built before '63 or after '65?
  12. I might give them a call. I like the Chevy most but I bet the Plymouth might be the most affordable.
  13. Looks close but the above car has no hood louvers like all the Hillman photos of cars of the same period. The hood on this Bullnose is the same.
  14. I'm afraid to ask what they want for them. Nice cars.
  15. A couple other early 1st gen concepts. Including a T-top.
  16. I kind of like the nick-name, "Chit" but I think they misspelled it.
  17. Paint also shows a lot of flaws for being "pristine". It looks like there's been some repainting too from some over-spray that's visible in some close up photos.
  18. Even in 1985 when I bought my "new" F150, there were better incentives toward buying the F150 over the Ranger. Even though the base Ranger was $1000 less than than a base F150, I was able to get twice as much ($500 vs $1000) for my trade in, a POS worn out 76 Courier if I bought the F150.
  19. Perhaps if the trucks were equipped with the base engines. Every full sized truck I've owned, except for an 85 F150, had one of the more or most powerful V8's that were available. They had more than enough power available than I usually needed. They were anything but sluggish. The base powered Ranger I had the opportunity to drive for a month needed every ounce of power it could produce to keep up with freeway driving and it was fresh off the lot. And that was without any real load in the bed.
  20. The mirror in 94 F150 is right in my line of sight and I find it very annoying. Also the brake and clutch pedals are mounted too high. It seems you would need some really big feet to make them positioned right. The best truck I ever owned was a '93 Silverado extra cab. The driving position was perfect, the brake pedal was at the perfect height and the rear view mirror never blocked any view. I still regret that I ever sold it. I'd trade the F150 for one in a heartbeat.
