  1. Looking for information on the Clum switch model 889. The number is stamped on the housing as shown in the attached photo. The application is from a 1929 Dodge Bros 3/4 ton truck with the DA engine. I have found a parts truck with the same switch. I have seen these as square shape also. Note there are only 4 terminals. I do not have parking lights.
  2. This is my Clum switch model number 889. Only has 4 terminals. Is there a model 8891?
  3. Thanks for checking. The journey and adventure continue.
  4. Check my previous thread: http://forums.aaca.org/f143/28-truck-wire-diagram-292989.html this the Clum for my 29 DB truck. Model 889. Has similar terminals but a different mounting. Is there a reference to this in the Data book? Dave will send a e mail to you.
  5. They look good polished but become dull after they oxidize. Brass will loss its luster also. Can the surface be painted with a clear paint to save finish?
  6. i never found out about these additional stamped letters. Believe to be reference to other internal rebuilds or modifications . Possibly changed engine bearing size. Thanks for checking on vacuum tank.
  7. Car is still available. I will place a Craiglist ad for Sacramento area today.
  8. Definitely earlier 20's. Not an E do D series. Note the missing raised belt line ridges on doors and cowling. Is there a frame number? That will tell a lot. Also check the wheelbase to verify model type. Very rough condition. Hard to see if wood patterns are available. Good parts truck.
  9. Latest E-Bay arrival. This will probably end up in a chop shop at this price. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dodge-Other-Original-1925-dodge-brothers-roadster-all-original-barn-find-ready-to-enjoy-now-1920-s-/321533955884?forcerrptr=true&hash=item4adceacf2c&item=321533955884&pt=US_Cars_Trucks
  10. I replaced the seats in my 29 DB truck. Since I did not have frame and springs I went with hi-density foam base and a 1" softer foam cover. Seat is very comfortable. I am sure the seats will outlive me.
  11. Is the valve at the end of the piston a directional flow valve. Or is it possible to install backwards. Sounds like you are moving along if you are getting the brakes working. Be sure and post some pictures when you can.
  12. I am am restoring a 29 DB "E" series truck. I have the copper brake lines. I have discovered that the brass tube fittings are a standard bolt thread and not the current tubing fitting thread. I do not know if this carried past 1930. Any ideas?
  13. Thanks but I have that spring. I believe some rebuild kits do not include it.
  14. Here is interesting videos about building Packard bodies. May take time to down load but quite interesting to see the craftsmanship . http://forums.aaca.org/f219/how-packard-builds-body-c1930-365117.html
  15. Do have the tank as shown in pic? Also is there a listing showing these Stewert tanks applications or vehicle usage ? Previous post stated it was on his Whipet.
  16. I got a master cylinder kit from Napa here in Citrus Hts. CA. It appears to be the same as the Wagner kit FC 3613. I am attaching the parts listing for application. I found the rubber boot dust cover is smaller then the place it fits on my master cylinder. It may work although.
