I’m not sure I can definitely say what a replica is, but I can say what it’s not. This is definitely not. With possibly the exception of the Faux-bra very few can pull it off.

I have not had any problems that I know of and the whole idea of trying to hide peoples' email addresses is a fool's errand. Email addresses get out. And email addresses are not the spawn to identity theft. Careless people are what cause ID theft. The real answer is to get smart about your email, use a good spam filter, be super careful about clicking on links, and never xfer money in any fashion without verbal confirmation. So, maybe you say on your site: "We protect our members from ID theft by making sure people whose addresses appear on the site are aware of it; have the option to opt out of it, and by making sure they are well aware of safe email practices." It was probably a coincidence that you posted the email addresses and shortly after your president’s email was hacked.

I have heard the AACA Winter Meet which was to be held in Puerto Rico has been canceled, for obvious reasons, and has been relocated to Mobile Alabama on March 22-24, 2018. So far it does not appear on the Meet Information or Calendar of Events pages of the National website and I was wondering if what I heard is true.

Well down here is South Florida our season is pretty much over until the fall. It is now to hot and humid with very unpredictable showers and thunderstorms to go out for more than a short ride. We had a busy beginning of the year with 9 local shows and the A.A.C.A Winter Meet since January 1st.

Thank you for posting the list of winners. I was at the 2016 meeting and I remember being told that a revised judging form was in the works for websites. I was unable to attend this year’s meeting and I was wondering if a new judging form or Webmasters Manual similar to the Newsletter Editors Manual was distributed. I would be very interested in getting copies if they are available so I can improve my website.

Although I said I got my letter on Friday I may have been mistaken as to the level of the award. After rereading these post, particularly Mark McAlpine’s, and rereading my letter it is not clear to me what award I have won. It says I have won an “AACA Webmaster Award”, with no mention of Master or any other designation.

I got mine Friday for the South Florida Region's website. I have emailed our editor, but haven't heard back from her about the that award.

Since this was last discussed in March I was wondering if this happened and I missed it? Bob

I noticed on the seminar schedule that there is a Webmasters’ Forum on Friday from 3:00 PM to 4:15 PM, and that it is “By Invitation Only”. How does one get invited as this would be of interest to me as our club’s webmaster?

No, but one of our members was informed that his car will receive a national award. So it should be long before we here about the Mater Editor and Webmaster Awards.

I like the term “Monet” when describing a car that is best seen from a distance.

You will need to fill the outside background of the logo with the color of you page background using Adobe Photoshop or some other photo editing program. I would like to see something in etched glass. You can put most any etched picture you want on them. Maybe a computer monitor/ screen with the AACA logo on it. </SPAN>

I have what I believe is a much earlier version of the G11, Canon A620. I have found it to be an excellent small camera. I use it mostly for club related photography. Since I take lots of pictures of our car shows one feature I would look for in any camera is an adjustable the LCD monitor. This makes it easy to take pictures from different elevations. This allows me to provide a variety viewpoints without having to climb up on something or kneeling down – the kneeling down part is easy, it’s the getting up part that’s hard - I find it gets rather tiresome having all the pictures taken from only eye level. The G11 or G12 has that feature. As Scott says, it is not small, but easily carried without much thought or concern. I have a small camera pouch that attaches to my belt that keeps handy, but out of the way. So if the G11 or G12 is as similar to my A620 as I suspect I would recommend it.
