Mika Jaakkola
Or my 38 Dodge truck maybe? Do you have a photo of the other side of the bucket where should be the bolt for lens ?
drwatson
I have a book on RITEWAY's . Part numbers look like "CB-nnnn" for example: "CB-2844", "CB-4366" etc., possibly 4 digits only. The part number is supposed to be on inside bottom of lens. Also helpful are 2 diameter measurements: outside and prism diam.
aacalifeer
If you can take the headlight door off you will then find numbers on the lens that will help id the light for you.Let us know what you find.
Michael Carney
Yes! I have that exact glass lamp with the same writing on my 1938 DeSoto, and my entire headlight assembly looks exactly like yours. I assume the same part was used for multiple car makes and models around that time.
Douglas Gilmore Brown
I'm thinking 1937 Dodge or Desoto. I think 1936 is a little narrower around the middle, and more "pointy" on the back end. Can you show a picture of the side that attaches it to the car ? 1936 and 1937 attach to the side of the grille shell, and 1938 attaches to the top of the fender. DFeeney
I would tent to lean on a 36/37 yr. In 38 they were shorter and fatter .
VW4X4
Can you post picture of the mounting surface.... This will likely ensure identity.
