Hmmmm. What the heck happened to the 21st! Our editor and calender people seem to be reinventing the standard calendar! <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" /> I need to find them a calendar school! <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Sorry, we thought we had fail safe methods in making sure there were no more errors. Guess not!

Yes. By all means. Take today off! And while you're relaxing, find something to do on December 28th, cuz that day doesn't exist either.

The bad news is that the mistakes are there. The good news is that I know how they happened and I will spend some extra time making sure those types of mistakes won't happen for next year.

Fortunately, the mistakes only apply for one day each time, and do not run forward into the rest of the calendar. That's my biggest fear, so when proofing, my main focus is that each month starts and ends correctly. I've already gotten a huge start on next year's calendar, so maybe I can get more eyes to look at it before we go to press.

Sorry for the mistakes. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

Actually, why do some months have 28 (or 29) days while others have 30 or 31? Yea, I know the history of the Gregorian calendar but is there any reason other than tradition for this confusion to survive in this day and age? Now if I were King...

For that matter, why do we have months at all. Why not just have a year with 365 (or 366) days counted out consecutively???

Or, why not just have 12 months with 28 even days, with one month having 29 (or 30) days. That would mean every month would start and end on the same day (except the last, of course).

Now, if I were king, I'd make it a rule that you can't dis the calendar maker. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I just figure that those days were listed twice with one of those days being his wife's birthday and the second one being his wedding anniversary. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

That way Steve would have a second chance at not forgetting <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Good heavens. I thought we bought this AACA Calendar for the photos of the cars. Who cares about days of the week--they come and they go. BUT--- the cars are what is important.

Actually, I can use a credit card. I have one that looks like the one in the upper left hand corner of this page. In fact, I've got to give Kim a call, cuz I do owe the Library some $$.
