If enough people are interested in just those vehicles, why not. It saves having to skip over stuff that you are totally not interested in. I say the more the merrier.

IMO it will only tend to eventually bring more people into the AACA Forum. In my case I use to mainly hang out on the Buick floor but recognized that there is much to be learned up on the top floor, the penthouse suite and even down in the basement. (Although you gotta be pretty thick skinned down there sometime...right Alk.) If I have a technical question that isn't unique to Buick I will generally ask it here and since there's no rules against double posting I'll post in the Buick forum also. That might be an interesting thread/topic for discussion.Or maybe a survey question to pose in "other" forums. How often do you visit the AACA General Forum.

Hi, Lamar...great question.

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">How often do you visit the AACA General Forum </div></div>

I might add, how many venture to the Library & Research Center Forum, use the "Search Function to learn from past posts made by knowledgeable people" (many technical questions are archived for 5 years and are not utilized), the Museum Forum, and so on?

Again, good question...

Hi, David...

Thank you for the response.

On the Main Page:

1. RH Column lists: Forums, Meet Registration, FAQ's, "Library", Museum, and, most important for future generations, "Junior AACA".

Click on each to "directly link" up.

2. On the "Header" of any post within any AACA Forum, or, Guest Forum, scroll to the top, slide the 'ole mouse to the yellow bar, and, all of the offerings/services of the AACA Forum appear with a drop down menu.

Click on any in the "yellow bar" at the top while you are on the "Discussion Forum" without having to go back to the Main/Opening Page. Just scroll up to the top of the page.

Regards,

Peter J... <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Providing additional forums strengthens the AACA, not weaken it.

By way of example: The Hershey show has DOZENS of clubs participate with club gettogethers during Hershey week. Just off the top of my head I know the following clubs meet at and during Hershey.

Packard

Chrysler

CCCA

Marmon

and many others...

This participation provides the AACA remarkable good will.

And I would think that if there is someone out there pondering getting a certain make of car they might appreciate a forum dedicated to the make. It would help them to have those people that already own them and the information on that make in one spot for them to access.

The mission of our club and all the others is to preserve automobiles in as close to their orginal state as possible.

Peter, The Wills Ste Claire Club holds a meeting every Friday at Hershey. We get 15-20 members attending each year. this group owns about 20 Wills. We know of 83 Wills so thats about 20% of the cars. We don't need a Forum, but leads and help with cars and needed parts are part of the Meeting. I say keep adding all these small culbs forums. It can only help those owners. Karl

Hi, David...

Check out the topics I mentioned.

So many participants go to the Forum for chatting back and forth, however, do not venture out of the General Forum chat section.

Wayne, you can't call Pedro "King Midget" until he gets elected President of AACA <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />.

....Sorry Peter, I couldn't resist the short joke. Especially when it involves the Mario Andretti of 18 wheels.

I check out the library and museums sites regularly. In the newsletter I publish there is usally something from both sites included. Stop by my spaces GAF 20&21 in the afternoon. I'll have some of the newsletters with me and your scales.

I'll drop in on the youth site occasionaly. Usally if Judy mentions something new about it.
