The hood ornament looks to be Pontiac.

I agree with Curti...... hood ornament looks like a Pontiac,  body style is  '49 - 54 but what can be seen

of the headlight and grill end I believe it is a '49

I was thinking 53 Pontiac Pathfinder, but after looking and re-looking, I think The 55er has it. The end of the grille sure could be 49 Chev. I think the little reflection on the headlight ring is the tip of the Chevy chrome. On the other hand, if that is a kink in the headlight rim, we are back to 53, and more likely Pontiac Pathfinder than Chevrolet, though 53 Chevrolet is a possibility. The end of the Grille looks more like Chev to me, but the hood ornament looks more like Pathfinder.

The photo was from eBay and the listing for it said the store was in Santa Monica CA.  It’s unlikely the car is a Canadian Pontiac but you never know…

The Grille points to Chevy and the hood ornament points to Canadian Pontiac. Here's what I had posted before I changed my mind. Check out that Pathfinder hoof ornament.

There were at least 2 Chevrolet hood ornaments, and it definitely isn't the fancier one that looks like a bird or plane or whatever. There was a simpler one though that looks more like a zeppelin.

That's a bigger car (look at the bumper) but a lot of the details are sure right!
