Leif in Calif
'32s are their own world, so perhaps this price is correct. For sure, they don't come up often. (much more in ad) I will say there are a lot of neat cars in this price range.... https://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/cto/d/novato-1932-ford-window/7765361896.html I very recently purchased this very attractive car with the intention of keeping same for my pleasure but other pressing projects have taken priority thus giving some fortunate person a chance to own this jewel. I will now quote the party from whom I purchased. "Manufactured July 1932. Been in family since January 1936, 51231 original miles, used as a commuter 1936-1953. Stored from 1954 to 2013.Original engine rebuilt, meets all Ford specs, no wear. Engine 65 hp, 221 cu. in. 21 stud V-8. (415) 897-8500
deac
The story of ownership sounds like the seller is trying to distance himself from being looked at as a 'flipper'! Maybe he had good intentions but it's still a sweet car. A low mileage car and an engine rebuild would make sense if the rebuild was replacing engine gaskets, belt and hoses, rebuilding the carburetor and replacing the water pumps; no machine work involved. Don't know the market on these but 55k seams a bit high.
TerryB
It’s not $55k exciting for me, I think it’s the color that is giving me that reaction. Lots of good other options at that price.

Reynard
Rumble seat coupes have roll down back windows as this one does. Model A's had external deck lid handles. 33's and 34's did not. Question: did 32's have external handles or not? This coupe doesn't seem to have one visible in the photos. Additionally, there are no step plates for rumble seat entry. suchan
Is that a factory color? It’d sure be easier if you could just paint the fenders and wheels black. $55K will buy you a lot of car nowadays.

JMAV8FORD
For that kind of money, it should have the correct color and striping, engine, interior, steering, wheels, and on and on.
