Jack Welch
The Buick Motor Car Museum did bid on this, but was unsuccessful. Maybe the auction winner will think of donating it at some point.
NTX5467
No doubt, that item would best be in a museum of some sort. I can't imagine an enthusiast paying that much for it, unless they had lots of disposable income and a place to put it. A cut-a-way 455 or Nailhead, a little bit different situation, by comparison. As with anything "No Reserve", we'll see what its true value is to somebody. Enjoy! NTX5467
60FlatTop
Remember those 1/24 diorama model they used to sell in the 1960s. It would be neat to have one of those.

NC-car-guy
It's no reserve. They might learn a hard lesson. Here's the link: No Reserve: Buick 3800 Series II V6 Display Engine for sale on BaT Auctions - ending July 29 (Lot #156,282) | Bring a Trailer What if we all put in $5-$10 each and bid on it, then donated it to the Buick Motor Car Museum?
