Fatmans I have a question. In the center of the box is one with 3 holes in it. What does it look like on the other side? That one might give us another hint as to what these things are used for.

How about bottle openers?

Just a WAG.

I doubt the odd balls are related, probably got thrown in the box because they looked similar to whom ever was cleaning up the hoard.

they look like a strap with hook would go to it, not footman loop no way to get it over casting.

Those do look similar to bimini top tie down loops or eye loops for a boat. Could be a mounting point for straps or hooks for an early touring top.

The only thing wrong with boat use is that they are cast iron. Won't find too many cast iron fittings on a boat.

These parts are the hook that attaches to a hood as part of a latch assembly.  The following photos show an example of this type of hook used on a 1914 American Underslung.  I have no doubt they were used on other cars.  I needed a set of these 3 or 4 years ago and wound up making a set when I couldn't find any. Timing is everything!  Alan
