GL Smith
Can anyone provide the correct firing order for a 331 industrial engine? I believe it was used on a water pump at a local municipal lift station. Thanks again!

Bloo
And if Ford, I believe it is *really* a Lincoln Y-Block. Ford sold a lot of those for industrial use, and for quite a while after they were no longer used in cars. I am fairly sure the Lincoln Y-Block had the same firing order as the smaller Ford Y-Block, the 272-292-312 as used in early Thunderbirds, etc. It is not the same as Chrysler. For what it's worth, Ford cylinder numbering is different too. #1 is almost always on the front of the engine on the right side (passenger side in USA). Starting at #1 go straight back 2-3-4 then go to the front cylinder on the other side for 5, then 6-7-8.
