Leif in Calif
Looks like a nice example owned by someone who has no idea about it's value. 28StutzCabriolet
I like this car. I would even own it. I've been told that when I comment on the car being overpriced, I am discouraging young buyers (?). Is that true? Sincerely hoping a good new owner ends up with it. Grimy
1. It's not running if you read between the lines of the text, nor has it been for 40 years. 2. I'm pretty sure Harrah's did NOT, would NOT, install that fuzzy blue fabric (if that's what you want to call it). 3. Wrong carburetor, and I'm pretty sure that's the wrong (and too small) vacuum tank. 4. No photo of left side of engine to see if the 30" long shaft captive in the water pump has been cut-and-coupled, without which it's a full day's job to remove the water pump for rebuild. @28StutzCabriolet I would not want a young buyer or anyone new to the hobby to think this is a good price for what's apparently there. 5

Is that true? Please go ahead and comment, Mr. 28 Stutz. Knowledgeable observations by car fans are the way we share our insights, and make the "Not Mine" section a source of information. Merely commenting that the price is high does no harm; when sellers (including most dealers) overprice a car, THAT does the hobby harm. If this sedan were perfectly restored and running reliably, I could see a sales price of $30,000 to $35.000. Maybe I'm being too generous. In its present state, perhaps $15,000? Or is that itself too generous?
carbking
For any intended use of the car other than museum or show; the pictured carburetor is a huge upgrade from the original. If the intended use is either of the above, add a tidy sum to find and restore an original. Jon

Seems to me you are discouraging sellers who haven't done their homework. 2

B Jake Moran
I spotted and posted a 1928 Buick Master 6 Sedan in nice condition on the Buick Buy/Sell section for $13,000 that would be a much better proposition than this car at $50,000. This seller will quietly forget he/she has an ad and it will be buried soon on CL anyway. Then CL will ask for another $5 next month.
Jim Skelly
Why would someone put a blue interior in this car when the exterior is black and green?

Because some people are idiots. I'm reminded of that DeSoto a while ago with the purple seats. 1

And actually, the pleats look much too flat for the typical car of that era. I don't believe that they are accurate representations of what Paige installed in 1924.
