1918 picture

My grandfather about 1918 in Webster Pennsylvania. Can anyone identify the car?

How about to scan to get a clear photo? Or is`t a picture from a news paper,they use to be like that photo.It looks to be a rare car?

I’m not the greatest on ID’ing prewar, but that sure looks like a Hudson triangle on the grille.

It will be an interesting identification. Low cut body looks somewhat sporty. Webster is a town across the Monongahela river from Donora PA. where United States Steel had a plant there. Look up "Donora Killer smog of 1948". On the bus ride going to first grade at St.Charles school in 1961 in Donora. The Webster hillside had not a bit of green left from the polution of the steel plant. My 1925 Monongahela Valley Bell Telephone directory only lists The Webster Garage as servicing all makes of automobiles. Across the valley there were many different auto dealers. One in Charleroi sold Lexington and Cleveland. A Monessen dealer sold Stutz and Columbia 6. Many of the other makes listed do not look close to what is shown.

I could be way off and I’m gonna keep searching but something that kinda reminded me of this car is the ace car built in Ypsilanti Michigan from 1920-22 so if this photo is for sure from 1918 than it’s not this car brand but I thought it was interesting enough to share.

It most certainly is an ACE Motorcar, which begin in 1920 and models came out in 1921. 

E4dbonz, try to verify the above date on your submitted photo, as the Motorcar is certainly a 1921 ACE. Best Wishes
