  1. Hi The 55er, Awesome! I just looked that up on-line for a '48 Dashboard, and Ta-Dah! There it was. This is Fantastic! Thank-you to the Parts Book People!!! Tom
  2. This appears to be a Harrison Heater, see if there are 2 rivets on the right hand side of base brackets. Also Motor would show stampings as Delco, so you likely need to take it apart. Best Wishes, Tom
  3. This appears to be an After Market emblem for a key chain, but I could be wrong. Tom
  4. Hello AACA Community, Please see pictures of a medium sized Pontiac Metal Emblem Measuring 9 1/2" X 2 5/8" with 2 mounting studs on back side. Would like to know the year and model this came from and where it would have been attached, such as on rear or hood side or other. Thanks very much, Tom
  5. Hi J541 and AACA community, Another possibility for "F" Vehicles is Fergus, see picture below. Best Wishes to all, Tom
  6. Hi, As a follow-up American Austin Bantam Club has a website that can offer help that you are looking for. Tom
  7. She's quite the Hot Rod Dune Buggy from back in the Day!!! There is a whole Wikipedia Page on the Continental Motor Company, which says they started making Aircraft Motors in late 20s to early 30s. I hope the experts will all chime in as technical eyes are needed here. Best Wishes, Tom
  8. Nice Rubber Pancake Universal Joint! Looks like Aluminum Transmission Case. Wire Spoked Wheel in front. Maybe a Chevrolet? Best Wishes
  9. Hello AACA Community, Please see picture below showing a Willys Pickup Truck with an Embossed Tailgate. Please advise what year these were offered or came as standard equipment on these Pickup Trucks that were often converted into the so-called "Gassers" back in the day. Thank-you, Tom
  10. Maybe 1929 Studebaker? or there abouts
  11. Try to remove the Ebony wood from the piano keys it's worth money. The White keys might be plastic rather than Ivory, but you can investigate. Best Wishes
  12. Perhaps take some pictures of the inside of the orange lid.
  13. I remember learning to drive just sitting in an old car in someone's side yard without spider webs and bee nests.
  14. That's what is called, "Crammed with Crap" but with a day off one could pull out the yard sell relics just for fun.
  15. Whenever you come upon an old car like this look in it for historic old coins, after not getting stung or bitten by bees or snakes. Old coins can be worth a pretty penny as long as they are not cleaned/polished up.
  16. If this Willys Pickup truck has an embossed WO tailgate, that alone is worth at least $1,000.00
  17. Great photo shoot backdrop for Bonnie & Clyde want-a-be's.
  18. Hi Gerczak, You would do well to be able to buy this old unique GMC relic of a by-gone era, if nothing else as lawn-art with the hope of selling some parts off of it. The relic antique quality of those wheels is one I could see being sold of e...bay. Such items having the GMC embossed logo would be another highly sought after relic. Best Wishes to you.
  19. Hey Norman, You could also try; 1.) Dry or burn off all of the oil etc. from Arm joint 2.) Wrap Arm joint in cotton rags 3.) Soak rags in with PHOSPORIC ACID straight out of container so much that it is dripping. [ cement / concrete cleaner etching ] 4.) Wrap wet rags with heavy plastic to keep Acid contained. 5.) Resoak rags daily for about a week Phosphoric Acid only dissolves iron rust, so it is fairly safe. This method, though quirky may free up whatever is frozen. Best Wishes to you AACA member! Tom
  20. Try to drill a hole in center of bolt. It's hard to see if there is a bolt head that sheared off or not. Could be rusted on the inside and unable to move off of the bushing.
  21. Hi, This appears to be able to fit on a 1932 Ford Coupe. Best Wishes, Tom
  22. One other person on ebay said they thought it was an aftermarket design. You'd think that the Falcon-Knight design would be the same as the radiator emblem shown below. The bird in flight is a good one to do and extensive search on, perhaps the AACA Library can shed light on it. I really like the Falcon Knight badge in bakelite relief. Best Wishes.
  23. This appears to be an early Buick Motorcar. Best Wishes
