Twisted Shifter
It might be a very driveable car, but with all the listed modifications and updates, $50k USD may be somewhat optimistic. https://seattle.craigslist.org/est/cto/d/seattle-1956-pontiac-laurentian/7668375228.html Rare Canadian Pontiac convertible. AdamInNH
All of the $50K value is hidden in that stellar wiring harness.
avgwarhawk
It appears to overheat or run hot. There is a fabricated fan shroud. $50k this engine bay should contain a completely rebuilt original engine. Wired like it made sense. Clean as a whistle.

I agree, those zip ties under the hood sure do add a lot to a nice looking car. 10 cent zip ties on a 50K car. I do think that this is a beautiful car, in spite of the continental kit. The color is just a little bit loud for my taste, but that's just me. Beautiful car until you open the hood. I would take it off the market and clean that up and then repost. theconvertibleguy
I was thinking that it was this vehicle that I saw in rural PEI, but not exactly. Wird to see two cars from the same era with the same loud paint job https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1171990877041280/?ref=category_feed&referral_code=undefined&referral_story_type=listing&tracking={"qid"%3A"-3394233416212854389"%2C"mf_story_key"%3A"6581978091869292"%2C"commerce_rank_obj"%3A"{\"target_id\"%3A6581978091869292%2C\"target_type\"%3A0%2C\"primary_position\"%3A2%2C\"ranking_signature\"%3A9194982295690820281%2C\"commerce_channel\"%3A504%2C\"value\"%3A0.00013469966941871%2C\"candidate_retrieval_source_map\"%3A{\"6581978091869292\"%3A111}}"%2C"ftmd_400706"%3A"111112l"}

1957Birdman
This color combination was definitely a fifties thing. I have a picture of a 1955 Ford Sunliner in Raven Black and Goldenrod Yellow with a yellow and black interior. It would have made a self-respecting yellow jacket proud, and it was a far cry from the "refrigerator" colors many cars have today.
