Pluses:

•Good rear bumper

•Color combination

•Early build going by headlights

•Starfire-specific exterior trim appears to all be there

Bothers:

•Incorrect replacement carpet. Unsure if seats have been redone.

•Exhaust tips

•Those wheels. Oldsmobiles should never have Chevy Rally wheels, or even center caps as this one does. Never. But I think they were added to accommodate the disc brakes.

For a ragtop in this condition money is probably in line. I'd like to see engine and undercarriage pictures, especially of the brake conversion.

I think for $27,000 the back vinyl window should not require replacing.  There are usually dozens of 60s convertibles for sale during the year for $15,000 or less with fewer deficiencies.

The seats appear original.  Vinyl in 1964?  If so that vinyl is very tough and the cost to redo would be too much for 20 year owners.  Exhaust looks ridiculous.  Wheels look stupid. No engine photo, few photos.

Pass.

Did the '64 bumpers rust out badly like the '63's? I had to search all over for a mediocre '63 bumper, and pay a lot for it. I do like the looks of both of those years, though.

61 thru 68 full-size Olds bumpers were notorious for it, though the 66 doesn't seem to be as bad about it as the other years. It's due to the way the mounting brackets are made. Yes, Oldsmobile left a drain hole at  the bottom edge, but it needed to be bigger.

A really good bumper shop can weld in a patch but it's tricky to get the mounting brackets aligned just right doing that.

I hate to be a nit picker, but for 27K couldn't you take the shop vac out and clean up the inside of this car? I really like the style of this car (rather not have a convertible) but 27k is a lot of money to drop off at your mechanic and not put some effort into the sale.

The 64 SF is my favorite model. I think this one looks real sad for $27,000. Agree with most of the nits picked but the general condition shown looks rough, high mileage, interior problems, top problems. If they put chevy wheels on it to match an incorrect bolt pattern what did they do to the back? This model is also very trim intensive, the rear tail panel is damaged and I would not be surprised if all the complex diecast rocker trim is too.

Another example of someone trying to sell a car for a high price without bothering to clean it or take any decent pictures. I hope I'm wrong and the first one to see it in person finds it to be a great car.
