John_S_in_Penna
Brown isn't a popular color these days, but so many convertibles are red or white that this might be an interesting change. This dark brown 1975 LeSabre in Brewster, Massachusetts has 63,000 miles. It is for sale on Craig's List. The asking price of $18,500 is probably within range of a realistic price. There is no phone number in the ad-- contact the seller through Craig's List. Here are the ad and a few pictures. The ad itself has 24 pictures overall. https://capecod.craigslist.org/cto/d/east-dennis-1975-buick-lesabre-custom/7663460715.html "Offered for sale is my 1975 Buick LeSabre Custom Convertible. 63,141 original miles! NC-car-guy
Oh! I like that interior! White seats stay a lil cooler but the two tone brown on everything else adds interest.

John2012
Looks like the same car that was on Bring a Trailer where the top bid was $8,945. You don't always get top dollar on BaT.

John_S_in_Penna
Some neighbors had a 1975 Electra 4-door hardtop in this same dark brown color. It looked good. I suspect it was a rare choice on LeSabre convertibles, even when new. LeSabre convertibles from 1975 are readily available, but I don't recall seeing another one in this color.

I see from the description there--more thorough than in the Craig's List ad--that the car, while still nice, isn't quite as good as I thought. There is an after-market stereo--not working-- and the driver's vinyl seat has some large splits. The carburetor is an Edelbrock, not original. My estimate of the car's value went down a notch, but I still like it overall. Its deficiencies can be corrected. lancemb
According to BaT listing from June car was just acquired by seller in September 2022. Probably a flip; no biggie but really annoying when they are too lazy to get the original carburetor rebuilt.
drhach
What happened between June of this year (when the car sold on BaT) and now that justified raising the price by $10K?
John_S_in_Penna
The seller didn't raise the price by $10,000. It was bid up to $8945 at the internet auction, but it wasn't sold. The owner was evidently expecting much more. I think he'll need to come down significantly to sell the car. Maybe to $13,000? B Jake Moran
As soon as he mentioned “recent carburetor” I knew it was the ubiquitous Edelbrock. I suppose there is a chrome aftermarket air cleaner on there. (did not look through photos).
B Jake Moran
Like Matt said - I love that interior and saddle top contrast with dark cinnamon body. This would be my choice. A nice $12,000 car. I’m always surprised at the stupid high sold prices in BaT so am surprised this dogged at $9,000.
