This is a very rare and seldom seem rambler 990 ambassador 2 door sedan/post car. It is powered by its original 327 v8 engine with a 4-barrel carburetor, and twin stick transmission. These twin sticks are super rare and almost no one has actually seen one. It is a 3-speed standard with an overdrive. These cars came standard with twin grip (Posi-traction) rear axle. All the trim is present and in near perfect condition. There are no dents or damage to the exterior of this vehicle. The interior is in extremely nice condition with very few small defects. It is also very comfortable to drive with no squeaks or rattles. The engine runs strong with no noise or smoke. This is an unusual and outstanding find. This vehicle needs nothing and is ready for its next owner.

I have no personal interest or stake in the eventual sale of this 1963 Rambler 990 Ambassador 2dr Sedan, manual w/Twin-Stick.  Other than the unfortunate flat black over the original maroon paint, this Ambassador is practically a unicorn.
The Standard Catalog of American Cars, 1946-1975, Edited by John Gunnell states 1,764 1963 Rambler 990 Ambassador 2dr Sedans built.

How do the twin sticks work? Looks like both levers are set in slots so it would be hard to shift a stick unless one is an inline shifter. Never been in one of these cars.

It's just Borg Warner overdrive, but with a different second gear ratio so you can use the overdrive effectively as a gear splitter. Lots of gears, and a 327. I like it.

Probably the first time I found any appreciation for that type of paint treatment. It somehow works (to my eyes) with this one. I'm just not sure that kind of money exists for one of these. I'd much, much rather own this versus a $17k Chevelle.

1963 Rambler a “muscle car”???Nobody would ever have used that word in 1963.  
 

Yes twin stick is the same old Borg Warner 3 speed overdrive that everyone is familiar with.  

AMC cleverly uses a 3 speed floor shift and the second “shifter” operates the lock out cable that everyone else put in or under the dashboard.
