EmTee
Can't the original be repaired?
Bloo
I doubt it In my experience once these are bent, they are toast. Hopefully somebody here has one.
TTR
Sorry to disagree Bloo, but in my experience, hinges similar to these can usually be repaired if replacements prove difficult to source, although results in some cases may not appear exactly like OEM, but if that’s not a concern, it can be done. In some cases, one can even modify hood hinges from some other application to replace either missing or poorly/weakly made as OEM sets. The 55er
If you replace the hinge it will have to come from another 1961-only full size Buick. Edited August 18, 2023 by The 55er added "full" (see edit history)

g-g-g0
There are a couple of places that do hinge repair. One on the east coast and one on the west coast. Google is your friend. Never used either one but have read lots of positive feedback.
EmTee
I'm just trying to figure out what could be wrong other than (1) wear at the pivots, (2) bent component or (3) broken or weak spring. Toughest thing to fix would be the pivots, but I have to believe that once the rivets are removed, elongated holes could be welded and re-drilled to accept appropriate replacement rivets. A bent piece can be straightened and reinforced, if necessary. Springs could be replaced. Given that the car is in the UK, I would try repairing the original if possible.
