1989 Meet in Batavia NY

I was not a member of the Buick Club in 1989. I sure wish I had. I noticed in the book there were a bunch of kids at the meet as well. I hope they are active club members now. Another observation was the amount of cars in the attached picture.

(It was a wonderful event.   First year for a Driven Award.  Was a huge class in addition to this show field. )  I am incorrect.  It was the second  Batavia meet that had the first Driven Award Class. As a matter of fact my Annie is visible in this 1989 picture, and my 3 sons were on the show field with Linda and I.  And two of my 3 sons are currently members of the BCA.

I was 40 years old in 1989!  Father of two teenage boys at the time to boot!

Read the names at the bottom.  That should bring back some fond memories from us older members.

Yes that was a good meet.  My only regret was that I had to fly in, instead of drive my Buick.
