Aaron65 Posted November 19, 2022 Share Posted November 19, 2022 In looking for an "I" for the trunk of my '63 Riviera, a nice guy on the ROA Facebook page sent me "Buick" letters that look like Riviera letters from the front but don't seem to be the right ones (he had them stored somewhere for 20 years - honest mistake for sure). NTX5467 Posted November 20, 2022 Share Posted November 20, 2022 They look very similar to what's on the deck lid of my '68 LeSabre. Back then, each letter was an individual part number, not a set of them. I concur that the method of attachment was common for anything older than the middle 1970s or so, when "molding tape" became popular and an upgrade for longer-term rust prevention. Enjoy!
