1936 Cadillac Fleetwood $8K Lots of money already spent

I am selling a 1936 Cadillac Fleetwood 70 series 5 passenger touring sedan with dual side mount wheels. Number 1669 of 2000 built. Car was shipped from factory to Hawaii in 1936 by Don Lee Cadillac. (San Francisco). Car was brought back to the mainland sometime in the early 70’s and has had only 3 owners in the last 50 years and has always been garaged since.

This is a numbers matching car. Chassis is restored with new clutch, flywheel, pressure plate. Front end rebuilt, as well as rear end (new axle bearings and seals), new brakes and wheel cylinders. Engine rebuilt with zero miles (I have the build sheet, $9200) Body in very good condition with no accident damage. Media blasted to bare metal and primed. New glass and rubber products. Everything original is with the car. All printed references comes with the car including a Full set of service/parts manuals and the CLC Authenticity guide.

‘36 is an oddball transitional year; BTDT. If the car was free, and the seller put $30K in your pocket, you’d still be upside-down before it’s done. The best one in the world is maybe $25-30K, tops.

I think that was the cost of the engine rebuild.
