I am not a "senior member" or anybody from the "Buick Heritage Alliance", but you posted Volume 1 Number 2 of the Buick Magazine. It is dated May 1935. That would indicate that the Buick Magazine was started in 1935. If you can find the April 1935 issue, that should be Volume 1 Number 1 if it was published every month.

These are amazing publications that went to car owners , in the pre WWII era a number of car companies ( Cadillac, Auburn/Cord, Ford, Lincoln, Packard, Franklin - in California, R-R , Bentley to name a few )  had their own magazines that were sent out - good advertising in the era before TV, and a perfect way to keep customers aware of what was new . Starting in the mid 1930s ( perhaps 1936?) at least by 1937, Buick would incorporate a sales folder in color of the new cars for the coming model years in the December issue of the magazine. The same folder was given to dealers to hand out to perspective customers - the full range sales catalog was given out to customers who bought a car or they thought would be back to buy one soon. Yes I have a collection of those magazines I mentioned , not a full collection but enough to take up  lot of space!  Most had artwork, or photo images that one did not see in magazine advertising, sales literature etc. Interesting publications all of them .

Thanks Walt, yes I do find them very interesting to browse through.  I have a few of the Buick Magazines ('38 and '54)  and have been considering adding some of the Buick Bulletins, albeit I'm finding them a bit pricey when found at all.

I don't know if the paper copies are collectable, but I have a bunch of digital copies (pdfs) from the teens and 20s, and they are fun to read and reflect on the days of past.

For example, this article is from January 1918 in the Bulletin - the fuel 17mpg seemed to be good news, but only 175mi per quart of oil could be a surprise for modern motorists.
