RivNut
Flashers weren't available in 64 so anything is appropriate.

Wayne R
Go fitted , safe motoring is a must these days, first item i fitted on my 64 Electra convertible was a hazard light switch from the seventies, use it all the time--because my car is so long --its a must. 1965rivgs
That accessory came out in '66 but would be considered correct ( at least IMO ) for retrofit into earlier years. Tom Mooney
rocketraider
If the Flarestat's harness plugs match the Riviera turn signal plugs, it will work. I have one for 1966 Cadillac installed on one of my 64 Starfires. Plug and play. Besides, except for people who really know mid-60s GM cars, who'd know it wasn't a year-correct factory job?
